Over the years, Suburban Express has seen many competitors come and go.
Our latest competitor, Peoria Charter Coach, seems to have some safety
problems, in our opinion.

Last time a company like this came to Champaign-Urbana, DOT shut them down:

LEX Express Shut Down By DOT

And here's a facebook review:

Kat Egan 1starNever use Peoria Charter Coach Company. Completely unprofessional, unreliable and worst of all,
unsafe. Pictures to come of broken down bus at Oak Brook Mall, forcing all passengers to wait at least 3 hours in
a parking lot for another bus to drive up to Champaign, IL. No mechanics, minimal communication and no promise of
a refund or even ETA of new bus. Just "about 2 hour". That's what it takes to get from Champaign to Oak Brook no
matter what. This is what using Peoria Charter gets you. And if you call, make sure to listen to how they have the
"Best Reputation" for charter bus companies in the midwest. I've used Suburban Express for 3 years and never had
anything like this happen. Best company? Not so much.

University of Illinois uses Peoria Charter to bring first-year international
students into town in August. But the parents of the international students
won't know about Peoria Charter's safety records...
